hahaha yes I absolutely remember. I was totally geared up to field comments about how the story was too sad, but I was less prepared for someone saying "I wish the ending had been more tragic." because, well, you weren't wrong! In many ways, it's a very happy and hopeful ending, against the backdrop of a tragic world.

but I think that's still too sad for a lot of people. I wish that weren't the case, but oh well.
