Miyazaki wrote the script (with Keiko Niwa) for Studio Ghibli's take on the novels, Arietty, but he didn't direct it, as he did SA and HMC. I also chose those two because I really fell for the fantastic settings: the Bathhouse of the Gods and Howl's Castle. But yeah, you could link that scene when John discovers His Room to the one in the film.

I know the author wanted to write up at least the S1 cases before posting, but I wonder if k_c also tried to complete the S2 cases and then decided to wait on S3 (like some other authors have) before figuring out how to handle the Hiatus. At least that's my hope. Because, yes, it would be wonderful to see how the relationship between Sherlock and John develops in the wake of the cases.
