Despite being called a series I would say this is a multichaptered WIP where it just so happens that the chapters have separate titles. Each part doesn't stand alone, instead they have you needing to know what happened before and wanting to know what happens next. And then suddenly there is no next. Yet. It's a very good story but I really wish it had been presented as a WIP since I, like you, don't usually like to read stories before they're completed.
