Sherlock fanon: Sherlock, when he sleeps, tends to collapse on the couch or table or desk in the sitting room. Sherlock's bedroom is a biohazard (may contain owls). Sherlock has no concept of personal space. When convenient or desired, Sherlock invades John's bed. Sherlock and John sleep more soundly together.

I love this work. it's more a single story than a series and should be read through. It's funny and fond and convincingly characterizes John as exasperated and competent and Sherlock as obsessive, determined, and a desirable evil.
It's the first bed-sharing story I read and still my favorite. As a bonus, it begins as a story of a great snow.

Another fabulous series (that I have the podfic for.) Excellent choice...that you beat me to, darn you. ;) But then, one of the joys of this fandom is an abundance of good fic. This one, is of course, among the best.

*g* I think there's considerable overlap on the reccers' lists for this first month. Or two. Or three?

I had to grin at people calling a story written in August or September a classic, even so. Big writing fandom is big.
