Fic rec: The Road to Inle
Title: The Road to Inlé
Author:
silverpard
Pairing: Gen
Length: 1,590
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None
Verse: Sherlock BBC, Crossover: Watership Down
Author's summary: "If we're going to make a habit of this," the Black Rabbit said, "you can call me Mycroft. For all farms are mine, and I wait for rabbits there more often than not."
Reccer's comments: Watership Down is precious to me for a long list of reasons I won’t bore you with: it’s not why you’re here, after all.
This story sat in my ‘to read’ tag for almost a year because I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to my hopes. It far, far exceeded them. This story is gorgeous, and the names Silverpard has chosen are perfect. It weaves perfectly into both canons, which doesn’t seem possible.
Why should you read it? As Silverpard says, “Who can resist badass bunnies?”
