Reccer's comments: Stunning piece centering on John's thoughts during the time Moriarty's got him. The dialogue between the two - along with John's internal monologue - is just perfect, with Moriarty's sometimes unhinged, sometimes bored madness in counterpoint to John's steadiness and determination. And as Moriarty's plans for John and Sherlock become clear, John decides on a course of action.
Simply one of the best missing-scene fics I've read in any fandom. Pedestrian
